Not the best night/morning for Josiah. I had the alarm set for 4am for his scheduled dose of oxy, muscle relaxer, and Tylenol, and he took that fine. But at 6am, he woke up quickly and rushed to the bathroom and started throwing up. He was sweating and threw up a lot. I called the Dr who said he was on call this weekend, and he said it may have been from him taking the meds on an empty stomach, or some stomach bug he caught. But he didn’t seem worried. He said he’d call back at 8am and check in. Josiah kept saying how terrible he felt with his head hurting and feeling nauseous. When Dr.Robinson called back at 8am, Josiah was doing some better, but he called in a prescription for some different pain medicine that would be easier on his stomach and some nausea medicine. Soon after I got off the phone with him, Josiah said he was thirsty so I got him some water, and he drank it all. A few minutes after he rushed to the bathroom again and threw it all up. We can’t pick up the new medicine until after 10am when they open. Please pray he starts feeling better. I hate to see him feeling so terrible. He‘s very discouraged, and says he can’t keep doing this. Please pray for him! If it gets worse, I’ll have to take him in to Northside emergency room. I’ll keep everyone updated.
Sooooo sorry he is having these problems. I know they are wearing him and you out! So glad he is with you and am praying for a quick and painless recovery! When you feel sick it’s hard to feel like you are recovering 🙏Love you both please continue to keep us posted it means so much. So many people have him bathed in prayers!
Prayers for both of you..... I can only imagine how difficult is for you and for him.....
Oh, no. I hate to hear this. If in doubt take him to the emergency room. Sounds like he may be dehydrated, which isn't good. Bless his heart. You are being a good nurse, Lauren. I know you must be exhausted too. Please keep us posted. Love and prayers! ❤😔🙏
