Josiah landed in Houston a couple of hours ago! He has his usual bloodwork, EKGs, and check-ins with the clinical trial staff. Please pray that everything looks great tomorrow and that he has a safe flight home!

We also received some bittersweet news from the clinical trial team… Originally, the trial didn’t have an end date, but we've now been told that it will conclude in October. Josiah will have completed 12 rounds over the course of a year.

Since the trial has been working so well for him, we’re definitely bummed that it’s ending and he won’t be able to continue on AZD 9574 with the chemo. At the same time, it has been incredibly taxing to travel to Houston every two weeks.

The team mentioned that we might be able to explore a similar PARP1 inhibitor to pair with the chemo, but that’s still uncertain. We hope to have more information soon.

Please continue to pray for Josiah’s doctors and medical team — that they have wisdom and insight as they determine the best next steps for his treatment. 💛
