They took us from our room on the cancer floor around 3pm to a room on the neurology floor. The room is not nearly as nice, and Josiah said the bed is not comfy here. The doctor came in and mentioned putting him on another seizure medication on top of the Keppra he’s already taking. They also are continuing to wean him off the steroid he’s on which helps brain swelling. They said it’s not good to be on the steroid for too long so that’s why they want him off of it. They think the seizure last night was caused from the brain swelling from him being weaned off the steroid. They want to keep him overnight again. He had another seizure today at 2pm, but it only lasted a minute. He’s still so tired. Please pray for his brain to stop swelling so that he can feel well again and not have anymore seizures. And please say a quick prayer for me too because my throat and head are hurting, and it would be really inconvenient to get sick right now, especially around him when his immune system is weak.
