For those that have been wondering, I am SO sorry I never posted an update about Josiah's spectroscopy. To be fair, it took about 2 weeks to hear back from the doctor due to the holidays. However, once we heard back, it was nice to let the dust settle a little bit and feel normal. I know many have been praying though, so my apologies for not updating sooner 😞

Josiah's doctor called and said that after reviewing his MRI and spectroscopy with several other doctors, they were all very puzzled. The spectroscopy showed an "elevated choline to creatine ratio in the region of the T2 FLAIR signaling abnormality compatible with metabolically active tumor." So the spectroscopy shows an active tumor, yet the MRI shows stable/no growth. The nurse practitioner said the activity could be due to the tumor still responding to radiation from the gamma knife procedure. We know there is also a small margin of error with a spectroscopy. Whatever the reason is, it was a little scary to hear. BUT it is so good that the MRI is showing stable. This is the most important thing. We are praying that everything is going to continue to be okay because we know God has Josiah in the palm of His hands! His next MRI is in April, so until then we will continue to live day to day, praying for complete healing as always ❤️ Thank you everyone who has prayed and reached out! We are so appreciative for the love!
