Surgery just began! He had to take a drug called Gleolan which is an optical imaging agent highlighting tumor cells which makes it easier for the surgeon to differentiate cancer versus the normal tissue. We are hoping this helps there be clear margins. He has to be hidden from light for 48 hours after taking it to avoid reactions, hence the blankets in the picture. He will be put completely under when they start, but they will wake him up for the cognitive testing during tumor removal. He was in good spirits, and God is giving him peace! Please pray for the surgeon and a successful outcome <3
