Spectroscopy update: The doctor hasn’t called yet, but the report came out on MyChart. It says “Elevated choline to creatinine ratio in the region of the T2 flair signal abnormality with metabolically active tumor.”
We’re obviously not doctors, but it sounds like it’s not necrosis and instead it’s active cancer. HOWEVER, the MRI report still says “No appreciable change in tumor compared to prior study (MRI).” So we still need the doctor to call to tell us her thoughts on all of this.
While driving, I made a split decision and stopped at a drive thru prayer at a church I’ve never been to. The couple was so sweet as I told them about what’s going on. I don’t break down a lot about this anymore, but I just started crying as they prayed over everything. It put me at peace, and I know whatever the doctor calls to say that it’ll be okay. One thing they mentioned while praying was if God could help us with this financially. Not even 10 minutes later, Josiah texted me that we were approved for financial assistance through Emory. Such a blessing!!
Please pray that the doctor reviews everything and it’s not what we’re thinking. God is the master healer, and I know anything is possible with Him. Regardless, we will stay blessed in the news that the tumor is stable. ❤️
Praying for Josiah as always! God is Faithful! So great to hear you were given financial assistance!
Miss your parents so much!
Miss seeing you too!
