The neurosurgeon showed us the images from his 9/3 MRI and said the growth from last one in May to this one was deeply concerning. The tumor has grown larger and deeper into his brain. It has infiltrated different areas than the original tumor. They want to do another MRI for him with additional imaging called ABTI (advanced brain tumor imaging). It will show additional information on the tumor. They scheduled that quickly for tomorrow 11:45am 9/26. The neurosurgeon wants to meet with him to review the results Monday 9/30 at 8am before his appointment with the neuro-oncologist. To give answers though, he said surgery is possible but it is extremely risky for where it’s at. They would have to be extremely careful to take what they can where he doesn’t lose functioning. We will be weighing the pros and cons with him more on Monday after the new results. The neurosurgeon Dr. Prabu and his PA were so kind and detailed. We’re processing everything ourselves. It’s a lot, and it’s really scary. We were both hoping that when he pulled up the scans there would be a healed brain. I know God can do anything and this still could be a possibility for his MRI tomorrow. Regardless of what happens, we are doing our best to trust God. It’s so difficult, even articulating this all right now is a lot. I attached pictures of the MRIs from May on the left and new tumor growth from September on the right.

Dear Josiah and Lauren,

We are believing with you both for complete healing. We trust that that tumor is dead and that Josiah will be well. Faith IS the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

We love you both!

Bill and Lita
