Hi friends. Yesterday, Dr. Robinson’s nurse called and Dr. Robinson (Josiah’s past brain surgeon) and the other doctors don’t think surgery is his best option. They want him to be seen at Duke again though for another surgical opinion or alternate treatment option and they want him to follow up with his old oncologist as well. I asked that Dr. Kahn (his Emory doctor) and Dr. Robinson talk and get on the same page because Dr. Kahn was the one saying she thought he did need surgery. They will call back Monday for clarity on that.

I called Duke, and they are getting the MRI images from Emory and will be reviewing Monday. They said to expect a call from their neurosurgeon Dr. Friedman on Tuesday between 4-9pm. They will call me and give next steps for him to have an appointment there. A lot of different opinions and a lot of waiting, but we are hoping that more hands in the pot will help him more.
